I don't know about you, but I really look forward to sending out greeting
cards each year. I'm one of those people who takes it seriously, and I
always try to include a handwritten message to the recipient rather than
just my signature. So you can imagine how much the declining quality of
boxed greetings cards annoys me. It seems that each year the illustrations
get more generic and the sentiments get more sterile. That's why I don't
even bother with the shop bought variety anymore. Instead, I create my own

through the process step by step. Most of the time, all you have to do is
select the basic design of the card from the options provided on the
website, and then type in your general message. Next, you can either print
the finished product out by yourself if you have a high-quality printer;
or, for a fee, you can have the website print it out. Once you get your
custom greeting cards, you can personalize them for all of the people on

One of the best things about making your own greeting cards online is the
fact that it's so easy to incorporate your favourite digital photos into
the design. All you have to do is upload the photo to the card-making

the quality is actually very good. Overall, I'd say the cost of ordering

impersonal box sets. And to me, there's really no question as to which

cards, too. Of course, these are generally just electronic cards that are
sent via e-mail. Nevertheless, e-cards are perfectly suitable for
students, younger people, and anyone else who has a more casual take on
the holidays.
